I am Diane de Ferran.

I am a part of the cartoonist team at The New Yorker magazine.

I graduated from École Supérieur des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg (HEAR) with two degrees in illustration.

I also studied graphic design and printmaking at Kookmin University in Seoul, South Korea..

I collaborate with institutions such as Musée Picasso of Paris and French Ministry of Health, among others.

I taught graphic design for two years at LISAA ( superior institut of arts Paris) before beginning my freelance career.

My work mainly revolves around the human figure.

I depict characters in exaggerated proportions used to express my emotions, discomfort or grotesque humor.

I seek forms inspired by sleep and modern iconographic details.

Intimate themes such as metamorphosis, transition and mental health are present throughout all my work.
